The Inverted Tower

Conon EOS Rebel T5i / Photoshop

Concentration

The inverted tower is a related image to the tower in high contrast, but with the difference of the darks turned white and lights turned black. This image also shows a familiar phenominon to that of a solar eclipse. The light that was bouncing around the moon is similar to the affect on the towers  shadow shown in the court yard, with a dark shadow and a bright outline.

High Contrast Church

Concentration

Following the theme of High Contrast for my concentration, this church was created using four colors instead if three or two like the other images, by using the different levels of brightness of the original photograph.

Notre Dame Rose Window

Concentration

The iconic Rose window is viewed from the opposite angle; contrasting with the details of the iconic building and window with the sky behind, creating a post-note feel to this photograph.

Concentration

Utilizing high contrast, I spurred away from my architectural background, so I  took an adventure with my camera to my school's swim practice and took some photos. This swimmer was covering his eyes from the sun, thus creating the image that I captured. Further refining resulted in this simple contrast photo of a different subject matter.

Rust and Ivy

Breathe

Originally a stark bland image, I vamped the color outputs and lowered clarity to create an ethereal feel to the work as a whole while also making the photo seem painted or colored in. Simple yet elegant, in my opinion, is always an appealing option, thus explaining the significance of my concentration and how all my works strive to express myself in various ways.

Conflicting Messages

Canon EOS Rebel T5i / Photoshop

Concentration

The picture of the grass was edited in photoshop to result in a high contrast between it and the area behind it. It was still, yet the arrows behind it symbolize the movement of our world, creating how I felt at the time, stress. It shows the movement of the world around me and the deadlines approaching, but the stillness of the grass portrays how I was not moving towards the goal, but trying to gain stability before continuing.
